Call for Spain to play the World Cup in Brazil
The return of the Bayern Munich defender Javi Martínez due to the injury of the Barcelona player Gerard Piqué is the only novelty in the call-up of the national coach, Vicente del Bosque, for the matches against Belarus and France in the qualifying phase for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Spain will play on Friday 12 October Minsk against Belarus and on Tuesday 16 receive France at the Vicente Calderón stadium in Madrid.
Del Bosque's painting, defending world title holder obtained in South Africa 2010 and European champion in 2008 y 2012, the preliminary phase of Brazil began 2014 last 11 September with a narrow victory over Georgia in Tbilisi, with a goal from Valencian player Roberto Soldado in the minute 86.
The selection will concentrate on the day 9 October at 12.00 hours in the Soccer City of Las Rozas and will travel to Belarus on the day 10 at 16,00 hours, from Madrid airport- Barajas.
