8 Chelsea-Aston Villa 0: Christmas for “blues”

Chelsea had no mercy on Aston Villa. The set ‘blue’ endorsed a 8-0 to his rival at Stamford Bridge to forget the penalties of the Club World Cup. Fernando Torres opened the can with a great goal from the head and was followed by David Luiz, Lampard, Ivanovic, Hazard, Oscar and Ramires twice. With this tremendous win, Chelsea placed third in the Premier League standings.

During the first 45 minutes Aston Villa did not make an appearance at Stamford Bridge. Rafa Benítez's team was the clear dominator of the clash and the early goal by Fernando Torres put the game very uphill for the visitors. The child’ headed a cross from the right to surprise the Aston Villa goalkeeper.

Chelsea played at will in front of their fans and it was only a matter of time before more chances came for the Londoners. Before reaching the first half hour, a direct foul by David Luiz meant the 2-0. Brazil, that this Sunday began playing in the center of the field with Frank Lampard, put the ball where (almost) no goalkeeper can reach. Five minutes later it was Ivanovic who joined the ‘blue party’ when picking up a ball at the exit of a corner and scoring against the passivity of the Aston Villa defense.

Not even the most optimistic could come to think that Chelsea was going to go to rest with such an advantage in the bright. Those of Benítez continued in the second part with the initial plan and maintained seriousness in all their lines. Benteke was one of the most active players at Aston Villa but his uncheckles never found the ball.

Moses, owner of the right wing
Moses was another of the outstanding footballers in the afternoon of Stamford Bridge. The Chelsea player did not stop carrying danger down the right wing despite the fact that his centers did not materialize in a goal. Moses did not stop going up and down and was the ideal partner for Fernando Torres and Juan Mata.

Lampard with a strong right from the edge of the area, Ramires receiving good assistance from Piazón, Oscar from penalty and Hazard from personal move extended the 'blue win’ against an Aston Villa who received a hard slap on this day of the Premier League. In the minute 89 Piazón had in his boots the eighth, but this time the goalkeeper guessed the direction of the shot. Yes Ramires did in the addition to close the scandalous result at Stamford Bridge.
