The crisis destroys the Greek League: Panathinaikos is left without a license to participate

The Panathinaikos, one of the largest in Greece, y 7 more teams are unlicensed to participate in the Greek League. As reported by the Greek Federation, Panathinaikos license, Aris Thessaloniki, PAS Giannina, OFI Crete, Panionios, and Panthrakikos with AEK Athens Kerkyra and has been denied so they could not participate in the maximum category Greek.

The clubs involved have 5 days to appeal and obtain the license before being demoted category. Hellenic country crisis is hitting hard and surprised that such important teams in that league as Panathinaikos, Aris Salonika and AEK Athens will not take part in the Greek first division.

Panathinaikos has appeared impressed with the decision. “Present evidence demonstrating our full viability and our guarantees for the present and for the future”, the club said in a statement on Thursday.

The club claims to meet all the requirements and will use to compete. “The club has taken steps in recent months as requested by UEFA and institutions in order to submit a complete dossier for our registration”.
