The best pictures of the weekend

With the Premier and the Bundesliga finished, the second weekend of May has left us images that will hardly be forgotten. Joy in some cases, sadness in others, surprise, admiration, we take a look in pictures at the highlights of the world of football. Because sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words:

1- Manuel Pellegrini and a City of history. The Uruguayan coach achieved what seemed impossible by arriving and kissing the saint. He made a City champion that fought until the last moment with Liverpool for one of the most even Premier League titles in history.

2- Willy Caballero avoided an alirón sung on a day where Barcelona, Atlético and Real Madrid punctured. Catalans and colchoneros will play the title at the Camp Nou next Saturday. If Barça win, they will be champion, but Atlético. It doesn't go any further.

3- A football great retires. Javier Zanneti says goodbye to Inter Milan to his 40 years and with 19 seasons as interista. More of 800 matches as a professional. Versatile player where they exist, he “Tractor” won everything possible at club level. And always with a leading role.

4- Bayern savored the title with a great party. But the news was that Schalke 04 ended up qualifying for the Champions directly. Leverkusen will play the preliminary round and Hamburg will avoid their first relegation in an agonizing promotion.

5- In Argentina, there has also been a dismissal for everything big. The one with Juan Sebastián Verón, what goes with 39 years, con 500 games played and with three World Cups behind him. Next to nothing.

6- What doesn't happen in Italy doesn't happen anywhere else. At the Sampdoria-Naples, a fan wanted to cheer up the crowd with a streptease that ended in a tackle by stadium security.
