Mark Mark, the best referee of the century

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) He has named German Markus Merk, and retired three-time World Referee, best referee of the century, in a classification in which the Spanish Manuel Mejuto González appears in eleventh position.
Two South American referees, Uruguayan Jorge Luis Larrionda and Colombian Oscar Julian Ruiz, complete the podium, while Britain's Howard Webb, referee World Cup final 2010 that Spain beat Holland, is fourth level on points with Belgian Frank De Bleeckere.
On the list, shows a total of seven Spanish referees, as they join Mejuto Medina Cantalejo (21º), Velasco Carballo (32º), Undiano Mallenco (35º), Daudén Ibáñez (53º), Lopez Nieto (56º) Iturralde Gonzalez and (60º).
