According to Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona has suspended all acts of the club after learning that has been reproduced with the disease of cancer Tito Vilanova.
The full statement from FC Barcelona was this before the information offered by Mundo Deportivo:
“FC Barcelona informs that is suspended upon the President Sandro Rosell scheduled for this afternoon. In addition, It is canceled Christmas lunch with the media.
The act of announcement of the winner of the IX International Journalism Award Manuel Vázquez Montalbán remains for today at 12 hours, in the Sala Paris, as it planned. The Club will be represented by vice president Carles Vilarrubi institutional managers and Ramon Pont and Ramon Cierco.
Throughout the day today the club will issue a new communication. Until now, not make any pronouncement on this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this decision may generate.”
