Anderlecht 1- Milan 3: Chilean spectacular goal from outside the area Mexes
Milan beat Anderlecht on Wednesday (3-1) in a match corresponding to the fifth day of group C of the Champions League held this Wednesday at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in Brussels and qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
With goals from Stephan El Shaarawy (47), French Philippe Mexes (71) and the Brazilian Pato (90+1), the Italian team defeated the Belgian team.
Milan however, will go to the next stage as second in the group, since Malaga previously drew against Zenit de Saint Petersburg (2-2), securing first place.
The goals of the match came in the second half and forward El Shaarawy was, como de costumbre, the first to score for the Italians, taking advantage of a mistake by the Belgian defense (47).
The goal of the night got it, nevertheless, Mexes, with a spectacular Chilean shot from outside the area that seemed to sentence the match (71).
However, el Anderlecht, who still had a chance to snatch second place from Milan, reduced differences in the minute 78 thanks to a goal from Tom de Sutter.
The Brazilian Duck, who had replaced the Spanish Bojan Krkic minutes before, sentenced for the Italians in the discount (90+1).
Milan, that he is only classified in 12th position in the Italian championship, seems to be in better condition in the European competition and nothing will be played when the next 4 of December receives in San Siro the Zenit of Saint Petersburg.
El Anderlecht, meanwhile, can still finish third in the group and qualify for the Europa League, although for this he will have to achieve a better result in Malaga than Zenit does in Milan.
