Third weekend of January and football that does not stop, rather, Increase your rhythm. This week has been one of great games, especially in Holland and England, but also some surprises. We review them in our weekly summary that we begin with the League.
- Barcelona and Atletico, they prick. Neither of the two leaders took advantage of the day to distance themselves from the other. Barcelona tied 1 On his visit to Levante and Atlético's field he could not get past that same result at home against Sevilla. Setbacks that leave them one point ahead of Real Madrid, that he scored 0-5 against Betis in what meant a new great goal from Ronaldo and the dismissal of Juan Carlos Garrido. Special mention to Pedro León, one of the great protagonists of the day in Getafe 2- Villarreal 2. Also notable is Málaga 0- Valencia 0.

- Arsenal remain first. The Premier does not slow down and neither does its leader, Arsenal who beat Fulham with two goals from Santi Cazorla. Great victory for City too (4-2) to Cardiff and from Chelsea to Manchester United for 3-1 which leaves Mourinho's men one point behind City and two behind the leader. United is seventh, six points behind Liverpool, who drew 2-2 at home against Aston Villa without a goal this time from Luis Suárez..

- Juventus, to yours. In Italy Juventus won 4-2 against Sampdoria with a goal from Llorente and remains eight points ahead of Roma, that triumphed 3-0 against Livorno. The third in contention is Naples, which tied 2 at Bologna's home with goals from Callejón and Higuaín. Inter defeat 1-0 against Genoa and Clarence Seedorf's victorious debut at the helm of AC Milan with a penalty goal from Balotelli against Hellas Verona.

- Ajax won the big Eredivisie match. In Holland the league returned and it did so with the great match between Ajax and PSV that ended with 1-0 in favor of those from Amsterdam who remain leaders together with Vitesse. PSV remains in the no-man's zone 14 points from the first two and with Europe increasingly further away.
- El PSG, intractable. And we finish with France where PSG continues its unstoppable path towards the title with a resounding 5-0 against Nantes which places them five points ahead of Monaco, who in turn won 0-2 at the house of the always complicated Tolouse.
