The German footballer from Hoffenheim Boris Vukcevic suffered a serious traffic accident this Friday and his life is in danger as confirmed by the German club itself through a statement..
“The player underwent immediate surgery and was placed in an artificial coma.. He is in critical condition and his evolution is unpredictable.”, says the club in a statement. “We are all shocked by the news, especially for Boris and his family”, said Hoffenheim sporting director Andreas Muller..
The accident occurred early in the afternoon in the town of Bammental, in the regional state of Baden-Württemberg. The player's vehicle crashed into an oncoming truck.
Vukcevic is one of the great pearls of German football and his 22 years he has already been international in the under-21 and under-19 youth categories of Germany.
