Spain will play at the Benito Villamarin 22 years later

Much has happened since the last time Spain played at the Benito Villamarin stadium in Seville. The last time was in June 1995 and the Spanish team achieved victory against Armenia. Since then, 'The Red’ has not played a match at the Verdiblanco stadium.

Now, as officially announced by the RFEF, The Spanish team will play in this remodeled seat stadium 60.000 spectators to face England next 14 October. Precisely, Real Betis field brings good memories to Selection. Not in vain, It was the scene of the legendary 12-1 but also against Malta, Red has been able to win 13 his 14 bético matches in the coliseum (only France took the victory by 1-2 in qualifying for Euro in 1992).
