Large pufos of the Spanish League: Kowalczyk
Wojciech Kowalczyk was an unpronounceable Polish striker noventero strange mustache who arrived recently promoted to First uun, Real Betis Balompié back in summer 1994. By 240 million pesetas for more than two decades ago, they were a few, Don “Manue” Ruiz de Lopera got his signing for Betis then embroider the season but it was not for the masterful contribution of this player.
Born in 1972, It was part of the Polish national team that played against Spain the final of the Olympic Games 1992 in the Nou Camp and it was the young star of Legia Warsaw of the time. This led Betis to notice him and sign a contract of 5 seasons. He passed 4 Wearing the shirt betica inglorious in which only scored 14 goals, one of them that if Sevilla, in all of them and being always substitute.
I finally yielded to Las Palmas season and a half where I also had a very successful step but at least shaved the rare and already in the 90 old fashioned, mustache wearing. Then his career took him to Cyprus where if you put league goals in a much lower level and returned home to retire although Spain, will always be remembered as one of those rare and expensive signings made that Betis in the late 90.
