The old curse of Real Madrid in Germany

He 17 November 1967 Real Madrid set foot in the old Olympic stadium in Munich to face TSV 1860. He did it in the round of 16 of the European Cup in a tie that began to mark an incredible but true trend for the most successful club in the world.: how difficult it was going to be to win in Germany.

That match was going to close with a scant 1-0 in favor of the Teutons but it was going to give way to 47 years of drama. And throughout that period, Real Madrid has played nothing more and nothing less than 25 parties with a devastating baggage. A single victory against Bayern Leverkusen (2-3) in the year 2000 and only six ties. Only those two goals from Roberto Carlos on the way to the eighth were enough to break a drought never seen before in a club of this size..

A strange mole that is not just coincidence. Because not only is it not winning, but up to five times, The Spanish team received four or more goals on their business card to German lands.
