Football fields increase attendance Spain

Last update 5 November, 2014 por Alberto Llopis

Not all bad news in Spain. From what little good that can be seen today can be observed in the soccer fields of the peninsula. And is that after more than five years of continuous regression in stadium attendance, it seems that the season 2014-15 begins to reflect a change in trend with a slight increase in viewers.

This follows the first ten days of League, where most sets are able to improve the average attendance per game. The highlight is the case of Real Madrid, which it is in first place with six thousand spectators over half than last year and snatches the privilege to FC Barcelona, that nevertheless manages to win two thousand entries per day more. It is true that in the case of white, of the five games played at the Bernabeu two they have been against Atletico and Blaugrana and another against Athletic, set fairly hearth.

But is that out of the two great, the rest also improves significantly. Lim revolution has made the fight for the League Valencia and get it supposed to have Mestalla 5.000 more seats filled weekend. Something similar Atletico last league where winning has happened has made three thousand people attend more day to Calderón.

although perhaps, the most spectacular thing is the Athletic Bilbao, which achieves increase in 13.000 the spectators. ¿El motivo? San Mames already operates normally and all tiers are available. Are modest growths Sevilla, Málaga, Thunderbolt, Celta, Levante and Villarreal, all sets that increase their attendance.

Of course not all increases. There stadiums where the presence of spectators is similar or even worse. There are cases of Elche, Espanyol or Getafe, they fail to increase viewers, and in the case of the first two, even significantly reduce. It draws attention to the case of Eibar, getting an average attendance of 4.600 spectators, although because their field is small in size.

Why this increase?

Could someone explain this slight rise viewers? Could it be attributed to a slight economic recovery? For we must be cautious. Several factors are involved. Primero, good weather this fall in the Peninsula. We will have to wait for winter to make a more objective assessment in this regard. El segundo, is the illusion of viewers in this start to the season and the enormous equality that exists in both head and descent, what it makes everyone play something. A third aspect is the sale of certain fertilizers.

As we see, multiple factors that augur a good year in terms of attendance but he does see that there is still need to be cautious. And it is that balances, as usual, en junio.
