New York Cosmos: the return of a classic

The New York Cosmos back to the picture of the world of football almost three decades after his disappearance. Which it was the strongest club in the US during the late 70's and early 80's compete in the NASL, American Second. With the signing of Marcos Senna, Cosmos takes the path that began in the late 70's with the signing of Pele, Chinaglia, Carlos Alberto and Franz Beckenbauer.

In the 70's, NASL was the top flight of football USA. Today is the second category, behind the MLS. Cosmos was refounded in 2010 in order to start competing in 2013. The club at the time named Eric Cantona as sporting director, Cobi Jones a former American football star as coordinator of football base and Pele as honorary president

The New York club right now is assembling a team you start playing next season gives the NASL. Marcos Senna will not be the only Spanish there since the Spanish-Brazilian will be joined by Ayoze, former player of the Tenerife and Sporting Gijon.
