The last weekend left us a lot of news in our weekly summary of the European day. Since Messi's injury, that he will be out for about three weeks due to a fibrillar rupture until the defeat of Real Madrid or Manchester United at home. We go on to discover our five favorite stories that occurred this past Saturday and Sunday:
- Atlético won the derby: Diego Costa gave the three points to Atlético who beat Madrid in the derby in the capital after 14 years without doing it. The Spanish-Brazilian is turning out to be better than Falcao and has scored in every matchday in the League. On the other hand, his colleague Benzema continues to demonstrate a patent lack of goal and desire, opening a bigger debate every time about whether he does not deserve to leave his position to Morata. Atletico add 21 points, the same as the Barcelona that defeated without Neymar and with Messi's goal against Almería by 0-2. The Argentine was the protagonist because, in addition to the goal, he was injured and will be out for three weeks. In other notable matches, Valencia beat Rayo Vallecano by 1-0 and Levante to Osasuna 0-1. Caparrós's squad adds its sixth game undefeated and only Barcelona has been able to beat them this season.
- Arsenal more leader and United in free fall. Arsenal remain intractable in England after winning 1-2 to Swansea with another Ramsey goal, premiership reveal, and a masterful Ozil that will be better and cheaper than Bale. Tottenham and Chelsea drew 1 with a great Fernando Torres who was expelled for a double yellow card and an outstanding Mata. The one that does not raise its head is the Manchester United that fell 1-2 against West Brom and twelfth to 8 gunners points. Worrying about the Old Trafford team that looks very bad. Aston Villa beat Manchester City by 3-2 creating doubts in the citizen group, too rough so far.
- The Naples and the Rome, continue their fight. Benítez's team won 0-2 against Genoa with a brace from Pandev while Roma, sole leader with six wins in six matches, knocked down by 5-0 to Bologna at home with a Totti that with 37 years has renewed and dreams of the World Cup in Brazil. His state of form every day better invites us to think that the option is more than viable. The Roman painting has 16 goals for and 1 en contra. Milan beat Sampdoria by 1-0 the same as Juventus at Torino's with a goal by Pogba. Inter did not pass the draw.
- El Bayern y el Borussia, intractable. Bayern beat Wolfsburg with difficulties by 1-0 at home showing that they are not the team of last year thanks to a goal from Müller. The one that is the same or better is the Borussia that thrashed 5-0 to Freiburg with braces from Reus and Lewandowski.
- And we finished with France where PSG beat Toulouse by 2-0 with goals from Marquinhos and Cavani. Monaco tied at Reims with a goal from Moutinho, the first scored by a player other than Falcao or Riviere. Speaking of scorers, do not miss the player that we are going to talk about very soon: Alfred Finnbogason, an Icelander who is breaking records all over Europe, especially in Holland.
