Bayern wins 0-2 Werder Bremen with a goal by Luiz Gustavo

Last update 16 November, 2012 by Julio Muñoz

Bayern Munich continues to count its games by victories this season and today the victim was Werder Bremen, who fell in their own stadium against the Bavarians (0-2) with goals from Brazilian Luiz Gustavo and Croatian Mario Mandzukic.
The match was quite even for most of the ninety minutes and the Bavarians were only able to resolve the match after eighty minutes of play..

First Luiz Gustavo opened the scoring in the 82 with a shot from outside the area that surprised the Bremen goalkeeper slightly ahead, Sebastian Mielitz. Less than two minutes later the Bavarians' second goal came on a counterattack. Mandzukic scored from close range after receiving a cross from the left from Swiss Xerdhan Shaqiri, who had entered the field at the minute 58 to replace Toni Kroos.

With it, Bayern completes six victories in six games, con 19 goals for and just two against. The Spanish Javi Martínez did not start as a starter for Bayern, but he entered the field in the minute 75 to replace Bastian Schweinsteiger. En todo caso, Rotation seems to be one of Bayern's keys this season, especially before weeks in which he also has to play in the Champions League.

Bayer Leverkusen also won their match today against the newly promoted Greuther Fürth with two goals from Sidney Sam.
Hamburg achieved its second victory of the season by defeating by 1-0 al Hannover 96, Levante's rival in the Europa League, with a goal from Rudnevs, a pass from former Madrid player Rafael van der Vaart.
Rudnevs' goal came in the minute 20 and then the game was a Hannover monologue in search of a tie. Hannover's chances were many but they did not materialize in the match because striker Mohamed Abdellaue did not have his best afternoon and partly because Hamburg's goalkeeper, Renee Adler, yes he had his.
Stuttgart beat Nuremberg away (0-2) with goals from the Bosnian Vedad Ibisevic and the Austrian Martin Harnik while Hoffenheim and Augsburg tied at zero goals.
On Friday, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Schalke had tied two goals.
