Francesc Arnau dies, a long-distance goalkeeper
The death of Francesc Arnau (22/03/1975-22/05/2021) to the 46 years has shocked the world of football but especially in Barcelona and Malaga. At Barça he went from the formative stage to the first team and in Malaga he occupied the goal of the La Rosaleda club during 10 years and also worked as a sports director. This same professional position he held in Oviedo where he has died from causes that are not public until now..
As a professional footballer, he made his debut in the Barça first team in 1999 and then he signed for Málaga where he defended his goal since the season 2000-01 until the 2010-11 when he retired to 36 years. He was also the goalkeeper of the under-21 team in the Euro Cup of the category played in 1998. DEP.
