Civil conflicts in the case of Colombia and the coronavirus crisis in Argentina have ended up ruling out the 2 venues where the South American tournament was originally going to be played, which in 2020 It was already postponed to this 2021 and what now, will finally change venue again.
CONMEBOL approves the Copa América 2021 in Brazil
The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) has been in charge of announcing the news definitively through its official media:
“The America's Cup 2021 will be played in Brazil! The start and end dates of the tournament are confirmed. The venues and the fixture’ will be informed by CONMEBOL in the next few hours. The oldest national team tournament in the world will make the entire continent vibrate!!”, CONMEBOL has published on its official Twitter profile.
