Real Madrid 2-Borussia Dortmund 2: whites are complicated first place

Last update 16 November, 2012 por Julio Muñoz

The real Madrid, with a free-kick from the German Mesut Özil in the 89, saved a draw (2-2) at home to Borussia Dortmund, this Tuesday in the 4th day of group D of the tournament, where the Spanish champion avoided in the end a setback that would have been very worrying.

El Borussia Dortmund, who already beat Real Madrid two weeks ago (2-1), the classification to eighths is very close, something he would have achieved in the event of a victory at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Marco Reus advanced to the visitors in the 28 and the Portuguese Pepe tied for the locals in the 34, but a goal against Álvaro Arbeloa put the Germans ahead again, on the brink of rest (45). In the second part, Real Madrid tried, until the final prize of Özil (89).

Borussia Dortmund have eight points, after two wins and two draws, and is a solo leader, while Real Madrid, next second in group, has seven points, after two wins, one draw and one defeat.

Dutch Ajax, that tied 2-2 on the Manchester City pitch, is third with 4 points and the English colistas with 2.

The fifth day of group D, el 21 de noviembre, will face Real Madrid with Manchester City in England and Ajax and Borussia in Holland.
