With the motto "We are sport, and from now on also esports" has seen the light Base eLeague, the first esports competition of Base We Are Sport. The franchise, specialized in sports equipment and known for its reach in the Spanish territory, has decided to make his first approach to the world of video games. Junto con Galaga, Canarian company focused on the sector, organizes an initiative that will start with FIFA 23 and will distribute a total of 5000 euros in prizes.
Specifically, the Base eLeague consists of weekly FIFA Ultimate Team tournaments (FUT) which take place every Saturday. These competitions, that are focused on PlayStation consoles (both the 4 as the 5), They are independent, and with only register to the competition platform Interested players can sign up for the tournaments of the week they prefer, regardless of whether they have previously participated or not. Besides, each month there will be a monthly final with the best competitors from the previous weeks.
