Wayne Rooney will leave the Premier League next summer

Last update 9 May, 2018 by Javi Argudo

After a career in teams such as Everton (in two stages) o Manchester United, Wayne Rooney seems to leave the Premier League next summer to embark on a new adventure far from his native England.

According to several newspapers such as Washington Post o Daily Mirror the destination of the English forward will be the American MLS. Specifically, everything points to his next team will be the DC United, who wants to build a block level to try to compete for all next season.

Rooney still has a contract until June 2019 so it would have to reach an agreement with Everton, his current team, to disassociate. Front season was successful, con 10 goles anotados en 31 matches in the Premier. However, it seems that the succulent offer the American team could convince him and so join the David Villa, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and so over big stars they see in the American League a good destination to finish their careers.
