Giuseppe Rossi is a new Fiorentina player. Villarreal has made public in the statement in which it officializes the principle of agreement between Villarreal and Fiorentina. Villarreal would receive for the transfer of the Italian international some 11 million more 5 variables, so that the Castellón team could end up entering some 16 millions of euros.

The official Villarreal statement is this:

“Villarreal CF and ACF Fiorentina have reached an agreement for the transfer of Italian-American forward Giuseppe Rossi who, in the absence of signing the contract, will from now on in the Italian team. The Submarine wants to thank the Italian-American striker for his full dedication in the six seasons in which he has played for the yellow club, who arrived in the campaign 2007-2008 from Manchester United, and wishes you the best of luck in your new professional stage”.
