Always in Colgados we tell you about brothers, Fathers and sons, cousins who are footballers, family members who share a passion for the beautiful game and who play at the highest level, usually on different teams, with some exceptions. Today we bring you one of those exceptions.
The Elm Family, the ball always in the blood
The Elms that play soccer are three: David, Viktor and Rasmus. They are Swedish and have a particularity, all play for their country's Kalmar FF.
David is the oldest, was born on 10 of January of 1983, and like his two younger brothers, he began his youth career in the Johansfors IF. Area Forward, measure 191 cm and as a professional he played for Falkenbergs FF, on the Kalmar FF, in English Fulham, at IF Elfsborg and returned in 2013 to Kalmar where he currently plays.
Viktor was born on 13 of November 1985, started at Johansfors IF and finished his training at Nybro IF. debuted in 2004 like his brother David and in 2006 moved to Kalmar FF. Then he went through the Dutch Heerenveen and AZ Alkmaar, and recently returned to the Kalmar FF. He works as a midfielder and measures 1,92.
Rasmus is maybe, the best known of the three. Swedish national team player, was born on 17 de Marzo de 1988. He trained as a footballer at Johansfors IF with his brothers and at Emmaboda IS. He debuted as a professional in 2005, a year after the other two. In 2009 was transferred to THE Alkmaar Dutch, where was he until 2012, year in which he went to Russia, to CSKA Moscow. In 2015, after several stomach problems that took him several months away from stadiums, terminated his contract with the Moscow club and, fulfilling the request of thousands of Swedes, He returned to Kalmar FF where he plays alongside his brothers.
