UEFA confirms that from 2015 the winners of the Europa League will take place in the Champions

UEFA has confirmed that as of 2015 the winners of the Europa League will have a place in the Champions League. News that was eagerly awaited in recent times, but it has taken longer than normal to consolidate. In the image and likeness of what happens in basketball, the champion of the second most important European competition will have his presence sealed together with the best teams from the Old Continent.

At present, the Europa League had fallen into some decline, by many of the best teams who considered it rather a hindrance than a title to win. However, now with the new award, the incentive will be much greater.
